Basketball Court

We got our basketball court put in a little over 2 weeks ago.

It was more of an ordeal than we planned. We ended up having to seed our lawn too. Bender's did a great job!!!!

It is so nice that Scott and I can shoot around any time we want and the girls have another place to play. They can ride bikes, use sidewalk chalk, push stollers, and shoot at their own little hoop in the corner. We are going to have years and years of fun with it.

Summer Activities

I LOVE the heat. There hasn't been that much of it this summer. My favorite days are about 88 degrees with lots of sun and few clouds.

We got back on Saturday from a week long missions trip to Kentucky with the youth group. GREAT times! My girls went along and did fantastic. I was so blessed by all the youth kids that hung out with them and gave me a break. Haddee seemed to grow up so much while we were there. She became more independent. I saw a glimpse of how it will be when she starts school. Hanging out with mom wasn't cool. She wanted to eat lunch with her new friends. :)

Monday we had a family day and went to the Ft. Wayne zoo. It is a pretty nice zoo. We had fun but I am looking forward to when our plans for the day don't need to revolve around 2 naps.

I am really excited about fair week this year. Scott's family and some friends of ours are going to be hanging out at our place. And we are going to have a basketball court in our back yard just in time for that. Pictures and that story will be my next entry. :)
