Feliz Cumpleanos

Saturday was my wonderful husband's 34th birthday. It was a busy day full of work and youth kids. Not a bad day, just no time to celebrate. So Friday evening was our time together. We went out for dinner and then bought apples and we made applesauce as a family. What a fun time, even with very young girls. What can be said about the love of my life? He is such a good man. I thank God for blessing me with him and my beautiful little girls.

Other things....

The girls and I have had colds for over a week now. Not fun but could be worse. That combined with the cold weather make me want to just stay in bed all day but I guess that's not much of an option. This weekend is our annual youth retreat. We are all going. Scott is in charge of the whole thing and I will be like a single mom all weekend trying to keep tabs on the girls and help Scott any way I can. Eva is only 5 months and is almost crawling. It is amazing. That will probably be my next blog. You can be expecting a video...
Blessings to all.

Church and Underwear

Eva was dedicated at church this Sunday. It wasn't quite what I had in mind, but it is hard to make it super special in a big church I guess. Scott's family came in for the weekend and that is what made it special. And God knows we adore our little baby and want her to grow up to know and love Him. We ask for His blessing on her life all the time. So Sunday was more of a symbol to let others know we dedicate ourselves to teach her about God and to ask for their help in the process as well. Thanks to all of you who participated in that day!

Haddee is officially out of diapers. It has been about a week now and she only had 1 accident that happened when mommy wasn't home. I'm not sure how the whole potty training thing happened. She did it herself. Maybe with Eva I will have to read a book about how to do it right and work with her, but Haddee has always thought she is older than she really is. Now every morning she gets to pick out what underwear she is going to wear. This morning it was the blue Dora ones.

Oh what a privilege and joy to be parents! Bye for now.
