This morning a friend of mine in the sub-division came over. We do a play date every 2 weeks. She has a girl just older than Haddee and a boy just younger than Eva. It is so fun to see Haddee and Madison play together. They are becoming good friends and so are Sharon and I. She is a wonderful Christian lady. Here are some recent pics of the girls to share with all of you.

Update
I have been busy with basketball. 4 games in the last 4 days. Tonight we lost in 3 overtimes. It is hard coaching close games. I always think there was something I could of done to make the difference. Today was the first game that Scott could come and bring the girls. It was fun to see them in the bleachers across from me. I shouldn't of said hi to Haddee at halftime though because she spent the 3rd quarter crying and screaming that she wanted to go sit with her mommy.

"When I get bigger I'm gonna be in a movie"
What? That's right. Last week I was putting Haddee to bed and she tells me that. I said, "You are?" And she said, "Yes. I'm gonna be in a movie with Diego and help him rescue animals." Too funny. I just laughed. What gave her the idea it is even possible to be "in a movie?" She adores Dora and crew. When we were praying together that night and I asked her who she wants to pray for she says, "Diego, baby jaguar, Dora, Benny, Boots, Isa, and Tico. They're my friends."
Today was my first basketball game (we lost by 6 by the way) so I was gone from about 3-9:30. Scott was with the girls and had another Haddee story for me when I got home. He said Haddee did a great job cleaning up her toys so being the great Daddy he is he made a big deal out of it. He kept telling her she did a great job and he was so proud of her. He gave her a hug and just did it up. Later he took her potty and found there were poop smears left from a little guest that was here earlier today. So being the great husband he is he cleaned it up. Haddee watched him do it and then ran to give him a big hug saying, "Daddy, I'm so proud of you. You cleaned up the poop!"
She was my source of laughter today. Here are a few pics Scott took to make all of you laugh today too.

101
That's how many things I feel like are going on right now. I have been wanting to update for a week but made myself prioritize. I thought I would make a list of a few of those things to catch you all up. #1 - I am coaching 7th grade basketball. We started right after Christmas break. Scott has been such a trooper to arrange his schedule most days so we don't need any outside help. It means early mornings for him and not seeing the girls when they wake but the season is only a little over 2 months and I love it and so he encourages me. #2 - Last weekend I spoke at our churches jr. high girls retreat. There were 3 sessions and God gave me what to speak about before they even asked me so I couldn't very much turn it down. It was a fun weekend getting to know the girls better. (there were 18 of them) #16 - (Yes I know I skipped a few. There isn't time for all of them) Then comes the New Years goals - not gonna share them because then maybe some of you will try check in to see how I am doing. But they are taking time out of my day as well, which is a good thing, but gives less time for other things. Thing #33 - I have been doing play dates with a lady in my sub-division every other week. Our goal is to get to know all the women who stay home with their kids and invite them to join us, especially the ones who don't have a relationship with Jesus. #47 - Spending too much time on Scott's facebook but justifying it because at least I don't have my own. # 48-101 - all of these have to do with my kids.

Eva will be 8 months tomorrow. It is hard to believe how much she has changed just in the past 2 weeks. She is a lot of work but so much fun. She got 2 teeth - just like that. Fussy one night and the next morning I saw her first tooth. The next day she had 2. I am amazed because teething was a nightmare with Haddee. Eva crawls everywhere and pulls herself up onto everything. She can make it up the stairs in seconds. Unlike her older sister, she is very daring. She tries anything and has gotten banged up a lot already. We have re-arranged our house because of her. She is a tough little girl. Some of my favorite things right now - She pulls herself to standing in her crib but isn't too graceful at getting back down. So she jumps up and down and screams - not like crying but calling for her mommy - until I come in. Then she looks at me and just laughs. The other one is she loves to be chased. She will crawl and if I chase after her she kicks into a whole different level of crawling and laughs until I catch her. So precious.

Haddee is still Haddee. Scott says the other day, "I just don't know what more she can learn." The proud father. She is so stinking smart. She melted my heart yesterday. She loves being wrapped in a blanket when going to and from the car. I usually don't take the time to do it when she asks but yesterday when we got home from church I wrapped her up and brought her inside. She looked right at me and said, "Thanks. You're the best mommy in the whole world." That is the first time she has said that and I made her repeat it like 5 times. She loves her Daddy but she is a Mommy's girl. She is by my side every second of the day. Times when I get annoyed I think, any day she could stop doing this and then I will always wish for the time back. So for now when I cook, she cooks. When I shower, she sits on the floor in the bathroom and waits for me. When I get dressed she is in my closet picking out my clothes. When I feed Eva she sits on my lap. When I play with her or read to her she is the happiest little girl in the whole world. And it makes me pretty happy too.
